Focus BioTek is Cutting the Edge of technology and bringing Farming into the 21st Century
Aeroponics were first invented by Russian and American space tests aboard the Russian MIR Space Station in the 90s and revealed startling results using a high density nutrient spray upon root development systems that increased growth rates and stimulated cellular activity beyond the scope of any previous earth bound gravity system. At the same time Aeroponics was birthed into existence and is still expanding into every segment of agriculture and botany.
Focus BioTek’s Clone Banking supplies the CBD Supplemental and Medical Cannabis Cultivation industry with high quality clones of top grade strains that provide the backbone of the growing industry similar to incubating eggs into hatchling chicks ready for a chicken farm.
Hydroponics is a subset of hydroculture, which is a method of growing plants without soil by instead using mineral nutrient solutions in a water solvent. Terrestrial plants may be grown with only their roots exposed to the nutritious liquid, or the roots may be physically supported by an inert medium such as perlite or gravel.
Plants commonly grown hydroponically include tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettuces, and marijuana.
Low-frequency ultrasound in biotechnology: State of the Art
The use of low-frequency (10–60kHz) ultrasound for enhancement of various biotechnological processes has received increased attention over the last decade as a rapid and reagent less method. Recent breakthroughs in sonochemistry have made the ultrasound irradiation procedure more feasible for a broader range of applications.
By varying the sonication parameters, various physical, chemical and biological effects can be achieved that can enhance the target processes in accordance with the applied conditions. However, the conditions that have provided beneficial effects of ultrasound on bioprocesses are case-specific and are therefore not widely available in the literature.
The current state of the art areas which Sonochemistry could be successfully combined with Biotechnology are enhancing the efficiency of bioprocesses, including root development of seeds to seedlings and the entire spectrum of biological and botanical activities.
Particles suspended in either travelling or standing wave fields experience non-zero time averaged radiation forces. In a standing wave field such forces can result in migration of the particles to preferred positions separated by distances of half an acoustic wavelength. Radiation forces also give rise to either interparticle attraction or repulsion and can exert a torque on suspended particles.
Examples of Ultra Sonic Treatments are improved life force activities, including photosynthesis and glucose conversion, health of plants through increased circulation of CO2 and oxygen at the roots, better organized cell concentration, cell alignment and cell-cell interaction by lessoning of stress at the cellular level with vibrations that separate from over clustering and irregular circulation are all improved.
